No timeout after connection loss

Preconditions: Device on cellular data

Steps: Open comments view
go in front of the elevator
press refresh
enter the elevator
go up and down for some time
check the connection
leave the elevator

Expected result:
Connection fails
after a while the connection fails
after some time the refresh times out
or when the connection is reestablished the refresh is completed

Actual result:

fetching post statuses

appears
But is does not go away not after a time out nor when the connection is reestablished. This means the only thing the user can do is press exit. This is a problem especially if this works the same when uploading a post

Requests appear to timeout OK on Maemo (testing with USB networking + Dummy IAP).

Is this still the case on Symbian?

An error dialog is shown if the connection is lost on symbian also, closing this ticket.
